I have been guiding on the Housatonic River for over 20 years and know every nook and cranny from Canaan to Kent.  We offer trips for both fly and spin anglers and both techniques can be very effective and rewarding.  When the Housatonic bite is on, it's on!  

Our favorite way to guide the river is by boat.  We have a 16 foot drift boat (Clakacraft), that offers first class fishing opportunities in open space and comfort. In addition, we have other guides from the area who know the river, so if I'm already on the water or in the store, we can get you going with another experienced guide.  The Housatonic has many fish species to pursue including trout, bass, pike and carp.  We cater to beginner, novice and expert anglers.

If you have your own rods/reels by all means bring them, same with tackle. The guide can fill in the blanks on tackle where needed. We can also provide you rods/reels and waders for the trip if you need them. Boat trips do NOT require waders, we like to fish in comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather when on the boat.

Drift Boat -
Full Day = $495 (1 or 2 anglers)
Half Day = $375 (1 or 2 anglers)
*Wading -
Full Day = 1 angler @ $450, 2 anglers @ $475, 3 anglers @ $495
Half Day - 1 angler @ $325, 2 anglers @ $375, 3 anglers @ $400
